Use the webstore admin interface to parameterize the appearance and operation of your webstore. Here, you can view orders registered through your webstore, sales data regarding web orders, as well as partners registered in your webstore.

Your webstore’s admin interface can be accessed via the Maintenance, Webstore connection icon. In the next window, click on the Web admin interface button. This feature can be accessed from the webstore too, if you click on Administration, located in the bottom right corner.

When on the admin webpage of your webstore, you can find the following setting options:

Partners »
Orders »
Sales data »
Interface and logo»
Menu items »
Categories »
Advertising images and banners »
Payment and shipment methods »
Settings »

Click on Partners to view users already registered in your webstore.

Click on the Filter button to open the query interface. The query interface can be used to filter the list of online-registered partners.

You can remove unnecessary partner records from your list, if you click on the Delete icon.

The Orders feature contains orders received in your webstore.

Click on the Filter button  to open the query interface. The query interface can be used to filter the list of online orders.

The list of received orders contains the most important details of each order. Use the icon, located in the beginning of the line, to open an interface containing specific information about the item.

Those items that you do not wish to transfer (synchronize) to the Key-Business order list, can be removed, if you use the Delete icon at the end of the line. Such items can, for example, be orders with insufficient/incomplete data.

Statistical data, to be viewed at Sales data, provides you with an overview about expected sales. You can learn about your expected sales in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual breakdowns, as calculated on the basis of received orders.

Fancy a cool design to your webstore? Six ergonomic, pre-set templates are ready for you to choose from. To make your selection, click on Interface.

Under Logo, you can upload an image that you wish to display in your webstore. By default, the „Your Webstore” image is visible as a logo. You can associate a website address (URL) with your logo as well.

Use Menu entries to arrange the sequence of menu items to be displayed in your webstore, and to set the contents of corresponding pages.

Two menu items are displayed by default: Home and Registration.

You can register additional menu items, if you use the Add new menu item feature. An editing window opens, and you can set up the contents of your page as plain text, or as HTML code in HTML view.

The sequence of menu items can be set by arrows at Rank. To display or hide certain menu items, use the buttons at Visibility. In the Control column you can modify or delete a particular menu item, or the contents of its page.

The sequence of first level-categories, imported from Key-Business, can be modified under Categories. The list of imported category values can be viewed in this menu item. The sequence of these items can be set with the arrows right next to the individual items.

Under Advertising images, click on New advertising image to upload those images that you wish to be displayed in the upper banner area of your webstore. It is possible to write informational labels and to associate a website link to every image. Use the website link to divert users from the logo image to the website. Such websites can contain detailed information about your products and services, or they can provide visitors with further details about promotional prices, for example.

Your uploaded images will be displayed in the middle-upper banner area of the page.

Use Banners, New banner to upload those images that you wish to be displayed in selected banner areas of your webstore. The display area can be specified in the Position field. It is possible to write informational labels and to associate a website link to every image. Use the website link to divert users from the logo image to the website. Such websites can contain detailed information about your products and services, or they can provide visitors with further details about promotional prices, for example. Alternatively, you can use „mailto:..@..” link format to offer the immediate email composing possibility.

Use the Payment methods option to specify which payment methods should be available in your webstore. Besides entering payment method names, you can also select the due period (in days).

The availability of each payment method can be set using the buttons of the Visibility column. Use the Control column to modify or delete a given payment method.

Use Shipment methods to specify and parameterize shipment methods available in your webstore. You can enter gross costs of certain shipment methods, and you can specify a purchase limit, from which a given shipment method is free. Shipment costs are displayed as services at Product master in Key-Business, when synchronizing the first order.

Availability of given shipment methods can be set using the buttons at the Visibility column. Use the Control column to modify or delete a given shipment method.

At Settings / Optimized web page URL you can create a unique, search engine-friendly webstore identifier. Type the name you wish to use in the URL (only non-accented letters and numbers are allowed). The optimized web page URL is required for setting the Google Analytics connection. This web page URL needs to be specified when creating the tracking ID. You can read further details about Google Analytics settings in its help.

Use Settings to determine if price management should be net-based or gross-based in your webstore.

Use Purchase process to determine if you wish your visitors be directed to the payment process, right after they place their article in the cart.

In Key-Business, the Maintenance/ Webstore settings / Warehouse to be synchronized option allows you to specify the warehouse in which inventory should be reserved by orders coming from your webstore. Corresponding inventory information can be displayed in your webstore, on the product datasheet. The displayed figure (with value, or without value) depends on the setting provided at Display warehouse quantities. This menu option is to be used for determining if a product without available stocks should be displayed in your webstore, or if it should be hidden from your customers.

For the option Products displayed on home page, you can determine your best-fitting method: random 9, random promo 9, or all promo products are to be displayed.

The Right side promo frame, always showing 3 random promo products, can be configured to show up on either side of your webstore.

The Category list default state drop-down list allows you to determine if product categories should display in a collapsed, or an expanded view in your webstore.

You can also select, if the purchase process in your webstore should require registration, or if it should be accepted without registration too. If you choose „without registration”, the Registration option will not be available in your webstore, and there will be no login interface either.

Additionally, you can use Settings to compose the text, including header and body text, of the  confirmation email of a particular purchase. You can insert macro data, containing order information, in the email too. Your email can be formatted in a text editor window, or in HTML format. If you click on the How the letter will look like link, you can view your edited confirmation email, now showing your macro data with test content. Prior to checking the letter format, save your text using the Save button, located at the bottom of the page.

If you wish to validate your changes made at Settings, save your new parameters with the Save button.

Exit is important due to security reasons. Exiting is highly advised, if you log in to the admin interface from a PC other than yours.
